Serena Williams has reportedly given birth to her first child.
After going into labour on Wednesday afternoon, the 35-year-old tennis star and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian are said to have welcomed a girl on Friday.

The news was broken by WPBF-25 news producer Chris Shepherd on Twitter, with the journalist writing: “Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well.”
The tennis star checked in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Palm Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, with an entire floor of the hospital being cleared in order to ensure the mother-to-be had the maximum amount of privacy possible.
On Thursday it was reported that Serena – younger sister of fellow tennis star Venice – was induced on Thursday evening.
Local news outlet CBS12 reported on Friday morning that doctors had confirmed Serena was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, after the entire first floor of the location was closed-off with access to all unauthorized personnel prohibbited.
