The 2017 project of South Africa’s Queen of Rock, Karen Zoid continues to generate the waves. Released in August, the rock singer, guitarist, and songwriter titled this effort “Op Die Oomblik (Deel Een).” It was released a follow-up to the chart-topping single “Vir Jou,” which also made the cut on the EP.
Consisting of 7 tracks, the “Op Die Oomblik (Deel Een)” EP is the first release of three different chapters in Zoid’s songbook. However, upon its release, it created a world of excitement and buzz across social circles, especially because the EP is Karen Zoid‘s first project in 6 years.
Karen Zoid‘s current band members consists of Henry Steel Jnr (guitar), Schalk van der Merwe (bass guitar), Tim Rankin (drums) as well as Kyle Petersen (pianist), who joined in 2016. Peterson also co-wrote “Vir Ju.”
